Versatility in Yellow

This radiant dress is my testament to the power of choice. Designed with a stretchy poly fabric, it ensures ease of movement, ideal for dynamic scenes. I've added a unique twist by offering the option of sleeves or a small lace top, in matching yellow or pristine white, to present a new spin on elegance.

Considering the Context

Elegance by the Pool

Envisioning a close-knit wedding in Italy, the request was for a design inspired by vacation pool and lounge wear.

The centerpiece of this vision was a navy linen dress – encapsulating both laid-back comfort and refined elegance, ensuring the client wouldn’t feel restricted or overly extravagant while enjoying the festivities.

Mastering the Fit

The Preliminary Sketch

Before diving into pattern blocks, I sketched out a visual representation for our vision. Sketching is akin to charting out a roadmap; it's the first glimpse of how a design might contour the body.

This crucial step not only acts as a blueprint in my mind but also serves as the foundational stage in garment construction. For more intricate projects, it's sometimes necessary to create a tech pack and flat drawings to solidify the process.
